Yann Tiersen
There was also the Yann Tiersen gig last night. Also at Vicar Street.
Yann Tiersen was fantastic and wonderful obviously. Lots of intense violin and glockenspiel playing. Bassist really got into it. Very upbeat all round. Here’s a shit photo of it:
Supporting band were terrible. Came on, didn’t say who they were, played a single 20~ minute song and left without a word. Bowed...

So the Jeff Mangum gig was awesome to say the least. The concert swag was not the best though :( I did however buy the opening acts LP.
His name was Cian Nugent and he was there with his mammy and had a nice jumper and some weird girl in the crowd kept telling people to be quiet. Oh and there were plebs everywhere. And thanks to kevins sister for the free stuff :)
